Sin Joh Chuang has close to 20 years of experience advising clients across a diverse spectrum of industries on a wide range of corporate and capital market transactions covering initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary fund raisings, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and post-listing compliance.
Sin Joh has worked with financial institutions clients as well as private and public companies in various sectors such as manufacturing, mining, energy, retail, real estate, airports, and technology.
Sin Joh has practiced law in Hong Kong since 2006 and has also worked in Malaysia, Singapore, and Shanghai. Her representative deals and experience prior to joining Jones Day in 2025 include the US$252 million Hong Kong IPO and global offering of China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited, the HK$21 billion privatization of New World China Land Limited, and the RMB13 billion nonpublic issuance of A-shares and H-shares by Datang International Power Generation Co.
Sin Joh is bilingual in English and Chinese. She was a contributor to the 2019 and 2021 editions of Companies Ordinance (Cap 622) Commentary and Annotations, published by Sweet & Maxwell, and also the book A Walk into Singapore, published by China Economic Publishing House in 2024.
