Jodie Martyndale-Howard's practice focuses on construction, engineering and project disputes, and claims management.
Jodie represents contractors, owners, developers, and consultants in public and private projects. She provides project advisory and dispute avoidance advice throughout the life cycle of projects. In addition, she advises on all aspects of dispute resolution from claim submission and management to mediation, expert determinations, litigation, and arbitration. Jodie has experience in international arbitration acting under major institutional rules and ad hoc arbitrations, including arbitrations that have been subject under various applicable laws, both common and civil law. She also has experience drafting all forms of FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) contracts.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Jodie was an associate at an international law firm Bahrain. She also trained in the London, Oman, and Dubai offices of an international law firm.
