Cyient Semiconductors acquires majority stake in Kinetic Technologies

Jones Day is advising Cyient Semiconductors in connection with the acquisition of a majority stake in Kinetic Technologies.

Cyient, a member of the Cyient Group of companies and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, operates as a fabless “design-production-supply” business that delivers high-performance semiconductor solutions to a wide variety of sectors, including HPC, data centers, AI, industrial automation, communications, automotive and healthcare. Kinetic, headquartered in San Jose, designs, develops and markets proprietary high-performance analog and mixed-signal power and protection semiconductors.

The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2026 subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
