EDF Invest acquires 50% of Euro Living and enters into joint venture with Savills Investment Management

Jones Day advised EDF Invest, the investment arm of global electricity leader Électricité de France (EDF SA), a global leader in low-carbon electricity generation and supply, on its acquisition of a 50% interest in Euro Living, the holding company of Savills Investment Management’s European Living Fund (EULIV).

Beyond the establishment of this new pan-European joint venture, the transaction also involves the integration of an initial €220 million portfolio, consisting of existing residential assets located in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. The platform will continue to deploy its acquisition strategy across several European countries, with the objective of reaching more than €600 million in gross asset value within the next two years.
