Ellie Martin practices multijurisdictional commercial litigation with a focus on complex and high-value disputes. She has acted for multinational corporations in a wide range of matters including antitrust, fraud, contentious insolvency, and investment fund disputes.

Ellie's recent experience includes working on matters concerning complex allegations of unlawful means conspiracy and breach of directors' duties spanning multiple jurisdictions, as well as acting for multiple software licensing companies in breach of contract claims. Ellie also acted for Mastercard in defense of a competition claim brought by Euronet 360 Finance and others, which was named as one of The Lawyer's Top 20 cases for 2023.

Ellie continues to act for Mastercard in collective proceedings in relation to certain of its interchange fees, and she is currently acting for American Industrial Partners in connection with disputes relating to the acquisition of one of Europe's largest aluminium smelters in France.

Ellie also has extensive experience representing vulnerable clients across various pro bono initiatives. She has represented numerous immigrants seeking asylum, parents of children who have been unfairly excluded from school, and victims of domestic violence seeking nonmolestation orders and regularly provides advice to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness on a range of legal issues including housing, employment, and small debt claims.
