Inside Secure acquires Verimatrix for approximately $145 million

Jones Day advised Inside Secure in its all cash acquisition of Verimatrix, Inc. for up to approximately $145 million in cash (including a potential earn-out). Inside Secure is a French company and provider of software, silicon IP, tools, and know-how for customers' secure transactions, content, applications, and communications. Verimatrix is a San Diego-based software company specializing in content security for digital television services around the globe, providing pay television service protection technology and secure VOIP. Their combined offerings will provide end-to-end security solutions to the IoT and connected cars markets and Verimatrix data analytics capabilities across all Inside Secure end markets.
