Rémy Fekete has practiced in the telecommunications, media, and information technology (TMT) sectors for more than 20 years. His practice focuses on the law applicable to information and communication technology (ICT), infrastructure, energy, and natural resources in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. He advises Firm clients such as telecom operators, media and digital platforms, governments, investment funds, and financial institutions on financing, restructuring, M&A, licensing, concessions, public-private partnerships (PPP), and international litigation and arbitration.

Rémy is particularly active on regulatory and transactional issues involving digital services, e-government, e-business, cybersecurity, Internet of Things, TV white space, Fiber to the Home (FTTH), OTT, and other wireless and wireline services, including satellite, cellular, internet, fiber-optic, and broadband communications technologies, small grids, and smart grids.

He has assisted clients in developing and financing innovative digital services and in securing domestic and international authorizations for the acquisition, construction, and operation of networks. He has advised more than 40 governments on cybersecurity and digital strategies, including the drafting of the Digital Code in Benin, Senegal, and Algeria.

Rémy has developed strong transactional and regulatory experience in the cinema studio, broadcast television, and radio station industries. He recently assisted CBS in a major output deal with Canal Plus on a Showtime series.

He assists the Firm's clients before French courts and in international proceedings. His recent successes relate to telecom international termination rates before Paris TGI, call for murder on a social network before the Paris Court of Appeal, and contested rights on an orbital slot before an international arbitration tribunal.
