Jones Day assisted the government of Gabon in the review of the legal and regulatory framework in its digital and health sectors, and assessed its adequacy to support the implementation of a national health information system and foster the development of e-health applications and services. Jones Day's assistance included (i) an analysis of relevant legislation and regulations to identify gaps and bottlenecks, (ii) a benchmark of international best practices, and (iii) recommendations of laws and regulations to adopt or amend with an implementation action plan.
