Jones Day advised long-standing client J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading mid-market private equity firm focused on the defense, aerospace, and maritime sectors, in connection with the sale of portfolio companies Drew Marine and ACR Electronics, Inc. to affiliates of The Jordan Company. The businesses sold were acquired by J.F. Lehman & Company in 2009 and 2012 respectively, acquisitions on which Jones Day advised.

Drew Marine is the leading independent global manufacturer and provider of advanced performance chemicals and safety solutions to virtually every sector of the international maritime and offshore markets. ACR Electronics is a leading provider of safety and survival solutions including emergency rescue beacons and safety and signaling lighting to aviation, marine, military, and outdoor recreation markets worldwide.

In addition to M&A representation, Jones Day provided private equity, employee benefits, tax, and antitrust advice regarding this transaction.
