Jones Day advised Platinum Equity LLC in its €155 million ($242 million) acquisition of two fiberglass manufacturing plants (located in Battice, Belgium, and Birkeland, Norway) from Owens Corning. The transaction entailed a complex spin-off of an entire business, including sophisticated IP rights and post-sale technical support services.
