Houston, Texas 77002

and via Webinar

Program:
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST

Reception:
5:00 p.m. CST

Please join the panel of Jones Day's Women in IP Speaker Series for a year-end discussion on timely trademark topics.

Our panelists will begin by addressing metaverse branding, including how best to protect both engagement and enforcement opportunities. We will discuss why NFTs matter in IP enforcement, then examine emerging trends in newly filed NFT-related infringement cases that are raising parody and First Amendment issues. Finally, we will analyze the first full year of new protection measures from the Trademark Modernization Act, including reexamination and expungement, as well as the other PTO measures enacted to address fraudulent trademark filings. A reception will be held at the conclusion of the presentation.

We hope you will be able to take part in this timely event.
