Bluegem Capital Partners refinances investment in and partially exits from Mamas & Papas

Jones Day advised Bluegem Capital Partners, and certain co-investors, on the refinancing of, and partial realisation of its investment in, Mamas & Papas, the UK nursery and maternity brand.

The transaction was structured as a combined equity release and debt refinancing, delivering a 2.0x return on capital called by Bluegem II to date, with Bluegem II retaining a 77% majority interest in the business alongside new investment from Cheyne Capital and other investors.
