Jones Day advised Koch Agronomic & Energy Solutions, LLC (KAES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., in its 50/50 joint venture with OCP S.A. An affiliate of KAES acquired a 50% interest in Jorf Fertilizers Company III ("Jorf III"), which owns and operates an integrated phosphate fertilizer production facility in Jorf Lasfar, Morocco. Jorf III is a component of the world's largest phosphate fertilizer production platform and has the capacity to produce up to 1.1 million metric tons annually of phosphate-based fertilizers. Jorf III's products will be marketed by OCP and KAES affiliates.
