Representative transactions include: Koch Industries' acquisition of Guardian Industries, a leading manufacturer of glass, automotive, and building products; the acquisition by Cinven and CVC of NewDay, the United Kingdom's fastest growing credit card company with £1.5+ billion receivables; Total's $3.2 billion sale of Atotech to The Carlyle Group; the $30 billion formation of Letterone, an investment structure for technology, retail, and oil and gas assets; the $1.2 billion sale of Danube Foods and Borjomi, the largest dairy, confectionary, and water and beverage businesses in South East Europe and Russia; Goodrich Corporation's $18.4 billion merger with United Technologies; Goodrich Corporation's aero-engine controls joint venture with Rolls-Royce; United Technologies' sale of that joint venture to Rolls-Royce; Sukhoi's aviation joint venture with Alenia Aeronautica; Rosneft's $3.56 billion joint venture with Sinopec; Goldman Sachs' co-investment with Lion Capital in (and exit from) a global beverage business; and advising Aviva Life and Pensions UK, British Land, Hermes Fund Managers, Land Securities Group, and Prudential Assurance Company on the sale of IPD Group.
