Jones Day represented HighBrook Property Fund III and its co-investment vehicle, HighBrook III Investment B ("Highbrook"), as lead counsel, in the sale of its 100% interest in Groothandelsgebouwen (GHG B.V.), the largest multi-tenant property in the Netherlands, to Jamestown, LP, an Atlanta, Georgia based real estate investment and management company, for €289 million. Jones Day previously advised HighBrook in the acquisition of GHG in May 2018 with an innovative capital markets based demerger completed in 42 days (instead of the approximate 14 months normally required to obtain 100% control) followed by a delisting (ENX: GROHA) to generate an upside of at least €120 million for HighBrook in a very short time frame.
