Shenzhen Energy acquires CPT Wyndham for $542 million

Jones Day advised Shenzhen Energy Corporation regarding the $542 million acquisition of 100 percent shares of CPT Wyndham Holdings Ltd. from a consortium of investors led by NewQuest Capital. Jones Day also assisted Shenzhen Energy with a $545 million secured term loan facility in connection with the acquisition.

Shenzhen Energy is a major state owned power generation company primarily operating gas turbine, wind, photovoltaic, hydropower and waste incineration power plants, and developing alternative energy projects.
