Chris Slack is an English-qualified corporate lawyer with a wide range of experience in private equity transactions. He advises clients located throughout Asia, as well as U.S. and European clients on their Asia transactions.
Chris advises public and private companies, private equity funds, asset managers, investors, and other financial institutions on a diverse range of corporate transactions, including fund formations and investment (including primary and secondary fund investments and portfolio investments), joint ventures, co-investments, acquisitions, and disposals (including private and public M&A transactions).
Chris also regularly works with venture capital funds and investors on their venture fund-raising and investment transactions (seed, preferred series, and pre-IPO).
Since relocating to the Firm's Singapore Office in 2017, Chris has worked with clients such as ARA Asset Management, CBRE Global Investment Partners, China Vanke, GIC, Greystar Real Estate Partners, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Koch Industries, Macquarie Capital, Procter & Gamble, Oxford Properties, PAG, The Townsend Group, Visy, and UPL Limited.
Chris previously worked in the Firm's London Office and advised clients such as Bain Capital Credit (formerly Sankaty Advisors), Blackstone, British Land, Delancey, Goldman Sachs, Meyer Bergman, and The Riverside Company.
While in London, he also served a secondment at Goldman Sachs, where he advised their European Real Estate Principal Investment Area and Infrastructure Investment Group on direct and indirect real estate private equity and infrastructure transactions.
