Chris Slack is an English-qualified corporate lawyer with experience in private equity and M&A, with a focus on real estate private equity. He advises on a wide range of transactions, including fund formations, joint ventures, investments (both fund and portfolio investments), private and public M&A, fundraisings, and various matters for private equity funds.
Chris advises clients located throughout Asia, as well as U.S. and European clients on their Asia transactions and regularly works on complex transactions involving multiple jurisdictions.
Since relocating to the Firm's Singapore Office in 2017, Chris has worked with clients ARA Asset Management, CBRE Global Investment Partners, China Vanke, Greystar Real Estate Partners, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Koch Industries, Macquarie Capital, Procter & Gamble, Oxford Properties, PAG, The Townsend Group, Visy, and UPL Limited.
Chris previously worked in the Firm's London Office and advised clients such as Bain Capital Credit (formerly Sankaty Advisors), Blackstone, British Land, Delancey, Goldman Sachs, Meyer Bergman, and The Riverside Company.
While in London, Chris also served a secondment at Goldman Sachs, where he advised their European Real Estate Principal Investment Area and Infrastructure Investment Group on complex cross-border real estate private equity and infrastructure transactions.
