Chris Slack is an English-qualified corporate lawyer with experience advising on private equity and M&A transactions, with a focus on real estate private equity. He advises clients located throughout Asia, as well as U.S. and European clients on their Asia transactions.
Chris advises public and private companies, private equity funds, investor, and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate transactions, including joint ventures, investments, private and public M&A, fund formations, fundraisings (both start-up and subsequent financing rounds), and various matters for private equity funds.
Since relocating to the Firm's Singapore Office in 2017, Chris has worked with such clients as ARA Asset Management, Asia Capital Real Estate, CBRE Global Investment Partners, CITIC, Crescent Point Group, Greystar Real Estate Partners, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Koch Industries, Macquarie Capital, Procter & Gamble, PAG, SGX, Singapore Technologies Telemedia, The Townsend Group, Visy, and UPL Limited, among others.
Chris previously worked in the Firm's London Office and advised clients including Bain Capital Credit (formerly Sankaty Advisors), Blackstone, British Land, Canyon Capital, Delancey, Goldman Sachs, Hansteen Holdings, Meyer Bergman, and The Riverside Company.
While in London, Chris also served a secondment at Goldman Sachs, where he advised their European Real Estate Principal Investment Area and Infrastructure Investment Group on a variety of complex cross-border real estate private equity and infrastructure transactions.
