Dr. Christian Paul represents clients in patent litigation matters, combining a rare double qualification as an attorney and natural scientist (graduate chemist) with training in the fields of technical chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. His practice focuses on the resolution of disputes over chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological patents and industrial high-tech applications.

Christian has served as trial counsel for international clients in litigation involving a wide range of patents, including biotechnology and pharmaceutical products, diagnostics, polymers, and chemical products, as well as other technology-related litigation including misappropriation of business secrets and cross-border discovery. Further to his doctorate degree in law, Christian is qualified as a German certified IP expert (Fachanwalt für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz).

Christian is the author of a number of articles on software/informatics, medical science/pharmacology, and intellectual property law. He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) and acts as the Loss Prevention Partner for the three German offices.
