Carrie Kiedrowski has more than 20 years of brand protection and enforcement experience and has particular success in resolving online trademark infringement issues and in domain name dispute arbitration actions before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Carrie effectively counsels global and national clients on the enforcement of trademark rights on the internet and on the proper use of brands in social media advertising. She focuses on defending brands from online threats and provides day-to-day advice on worldwide brand development and protection programs, domestic and international trademark clearance and prosecution, trademark due diligence, trademark licensing, and online copyright matters. Carrie also has significant experience managing international trademark and domain name portfolios and works closely with foreign counsel in more than 130 countries throughout the world. Recent industry experience includes free knowledge and open source products and services, insurance and financial services, mobile applications, software, consumer products, educational assessment products and services, film and packaging products, food and beverage products, and real estate development services. Carrie represents clients in trademark opposition and cancellation actions before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and assists in U.S. federal district court trademark litigation cases.

Carrie is lead pro bono trademark counsel for several global nonprofit organizations, such as Room to Read, in which underserved individuals receive literacy and educational support. Prior to joining Jones Day, Carrie was a counselor for people with disabilities for approximately 10 years with the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission.
