Alex Fries focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with a strong emphasis on securities and corporate governance issues, contracts, fraud, and consumer class actions.

She has represented public and private companies, directors, officers, and employees in matters arising under federal and state securities laws, including shareholder class and derivative actions and merger litigation. Alex also has defended clients in multiple bench trials and has significant mediation experience.

Alex is active in the Los Angeles and Orange County legal communities and has represented several pro bono clients. She was lead counsel in a trial in Los Angeles Superior Court in which she obtained a restraining order for a victim of domestic violence.
