Artur Badra has extensive experience coordinating the corporate legal strategy for global clients doing business in Latin America.
He focuses predominantly in the areas of M&A for domestic and multinational companies, cross-border transactions, restructuring of corporate groups, joint ventures, and other forms of business cooperation in Latin America. Artur also handles the local coordination of global antitrust matters and internal corporate investigations of fraud and violations of anticorruption and antitrust laws. Artur has been a key contributor in the São Paulo Office since its inception in 2011.
Most recently, Artur has advised GE in the divestiture of its water and industrial solution businesses, as well as Cardinal Health in the acquisition of Cordis and Fortis in Brazil. Other key clients for which Artur has advised on substantial corporate legal matters include: Banco Santander, Schibsted, TRX, Chevron, CVC Capital, and Riverside.
