Stellantis Financial Services Italia completes €1.2 billion cash SRT securitisation of auto loans

Jones Day advised Stellantis Financial Services Italia (member of the Banco Santander group) in a new public auto loan securitisation, with a total value of approximately €1.2 billion.

The securitisation was structured as a significant risk transfer (SRT) transaction and complies with the simplicity, transparency, and standardisation (STS) requirements set out under European Regulation (EU) 2017/2402. STS Verification International GmbH (SVI) acted as the independent third-party verifier of these requirements.

The asset-backed securities issued in connection with the transaction were issued by the special purpose vehicle (SPV) Auto ABS Italian Stella Loans S.r.l. The Class A1, A2, B, C, D and E Notes received ratings from DBRS and Fitch, were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and were placed with investors in the market. The Junior Notes (Class Z) were neither rated nor listed.
