Jones Day advised the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of United PanAm Financial Corp. ("UPFC") in the $110 million acquisition of United PanAm Financial Corp. by an entity controlled by Guillermo Bron, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UPFC, and by affiliates of Pine Brook Road Partners, LLC. In addition to M&A representation, Jones Day provided employee benefits, labor and employment, antitrust, and tax advice regarding this transaction.
