Atlas Resource Partners acquires oil and gas interests in Rangely field in northwest Colorado for $420 million

Client(s) Atlas Resource Partners, L.P.

Jones Day advised Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. in the acquisition of oil and gas interests in the Rangely field in northwest Colorado for $420 million. The asset position is a tertiary oil recovery project using CO2 flood activity. Atlas will have an approximate 25% non-operating net working interest in the assets, and Chevron Corporation will continue as operator.
