Jonas Van den Bossche has more than 17 years of experience in complex domestic and cross-border M&A deals, joint ventures, private equity, and real estate transactions. He also advises clients on general corporate governance, corporate law, and restructuring issues. Jonas has been with Jones Day since 2008 and also spent 18 months in the Firm's London Office.
Recent representative transactions include Euroclear's acquisition of Spanish-based Banco Inversis from Banca March, Bekaert's acquisition of two Chinese and Thai tire reinforcement plants from Bridgestone, Biobest's €500 million acquisition of Biotrop, and Pandox's sale of the Crowne Plaza Antwerp hotel to IRET.
Other major companies Jonas has advised include Arsenal Capital, Astellas, Barco, Bridgestone, Diebold, Hansteen, Heidrick & Struggles, Hexagon, International Automotive Components Group, MasterCard, Mitsui Chemicals, Nitto, Pioneer, Procter & Gamble, Solvay, Suez, Syensqo, Toyota Motor Corporation, and Wabtec Corporation.
