Chuck Hardin has acted as the principal outside lawyer on literally hundreds of completed M&A and private equity transactions in more than 30 years of practice. In the past two decades, the main focus of his practice has involved the representation of private equity funds. Chuck is one of the founders of Jones Day's global Private Equity Practice and served as its chair for a decade.

In community matters, he is a trustee of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center and has served as a trustee of several Cleveland area nonprofits, including the Achievement Centers for Children, College Now Greater Cleveland, and MOCA Cleveland.
