Safran forms joint venture with Airbus Group

Jones Day advised Safran SA, an international high-tech group and first-tier equipment supplier in aeronautics and space, defense, and security, on the creation of a joint venture named "Airbus Safran Launchers" with Airbus Group, a world leader in aeronautics, space, defense, and related services. The new company will combine the expertise of Airbus Group and Safran in the domain of space launchers at their main sites in France and Germany.

In addition to M&A representation, Jones Day provided real estate and tax advice regarding this transaction.
