P&G sells Vidal Sassoon brand in Greater China

Client(s) Procter & Gamble Company, The

Jones Day is advising The Procter & Gamble Company in the sale of its Vidal Sassoon hair care consumer products business to Henkel AG & Co. KGaA. P&G’s Vidal Sassoon business currently operates in the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong.

The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2024, subject to customary closing conditions including clearance under the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People’s Republic of China.
