Tineco defends patent infringement claims brought before ITC by Bissell involving wet-dry surface cleaning devices

Jones Day represents Tineco Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. as respondent in a Section 337 ITC investigation filed by complainants Bissell Inc. and Bissell Homecare Inc. ("Bissell") relating to wet-dry surface cleaning devices. Bissell asserts five patents that it alleges Tineco's wet dry surface cleaning devices infringe. Tineco contends that the asserted patents are invalid, and the accused products do not infringe. An evidentiary hearing is set for December 2022. Jones Day also represents Tineco in two related district court cases pending in the District of Delaware and the Western District of Washington. Both cases have been stayed pending resolution of the ITC dispute.
