Jones Day is representing NXP USA, Inc. and NXP B.V. in their enforcement of six radio frequency identification ("RFID") and wafer-layout patents against Impinj, Inc. Jones Day persuaded the United States Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) to deny institution of inter partes review (IPR) proceedings filed by Impinj challenging four of the patents.
