Merial obtains IPR institution, obtains settlement in IPR relating to pet parasite treatments

Client(s) Merial Inc.

On behalf of Merial Inc., Jones Day successfully petitioned for inter partes review of Fidopharm's U.S. Patent No. 8,829,038 relating to preventative treatments for pet parasites. Following institution on all challenged claims in November 2016, the parties opted to settle the PTAB proceedings.
