Jones Day advised CareNow, a privately held provider of urgent care, family practice and occupational health services, in its acquisition by an affiliate of Hospital Corporation of America ("HCA"). Founded in 1993, CareNow grew to become one of the largest independent operators of urgent care centers in the area. HCA, a publicly traded company, added CareNow to its network of health care facilities in 20 states and England.

In addition to health care and M&A representation, Jones Day provided employee benefits, intellectual property, tax and antitrust advice regarding the transaction.
