Jones Day announces nine winners of its 2022 International Legal Fellowship Award in China

The Firm has announced the winners of its 2022 International Legal Fellowship Award. Nine outstanding law students from top universities in China were chosen as recipients for this year's award, including students from Fudan University, China University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University, Renmin University of China, and Tsinghua University.

Jones Day has presented the International Legal Fellowship Award for more than 20 years, rewarding hundreds of outstanding law students from more than ten universities in China. The program supports the winners' educational pursuits in the legal area of their choice.

"Jones Day has been making contributions to the development of the rule of law in China for many years, and is committed to cultivating the next generation of outstanding legal talent," said partner Jessie Tang. "In addition to the International Legal Fellowship Award, we are proud to be working with Peking University on the 'Peking University-Jones Day Global Legal Talent Development Program in China,' which aims to develop more lawyers in China and around the world."

This year's winners are:

  • Jiaqi Wang - Tsinghua University
  • Jiasi Xiong - China University of Political Science and Law
  • Xiaokun Yuan - Renmin University of China
  • Haotian Zhang - China University of Political Science and Law
