Tim Villari represents financial institutions and large corporations in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts nationwide and in fintech-related regulatory matters. He has experience with multiple aspects of the litigation process including discovery, brief writing, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
Tim actively represents clients in litigation related to structured financial products, such as residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and student loan securitizations, contract disputes, bankruptcy, and civil lawsuits under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Tim also actively counsels clients with respect to fintech-related regulatory issues and on environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-related matters.
Tim maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented clients seeking expunctions.
Prior to attending law school, Tim worked as a senior legislative aide in the Ohio Senate. He is also a proud Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America organization.
