Tim Villari represents financial institutions and large corporations in complex civil litigation matters in federal and state courts nationwide. He has experience with multiple aspects of the litigation process including discovery, brief writing, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
Tim's financial litigation experience includes defending major financial institutions against claims related to structured financial products, such as residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and student loan securitizations. Outside of complex financial litigation, he also has experience in representing companies in bankruptcy litigation, construction arbitration, and civil lawsuits under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and advising on environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-related matters.
Prior to attending law school, Tim worked as a senior legislative aide in the Ohio Senate. He is also a proud Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America organization.
