Jareli Reynoso Gutierrez focuses on strategic technology transactions and data privacy matters within a wide range of industries. She routinely advises clients on global data privacy compliance, strategic alliance counseling, and licensing deals.
Jareli also advises on and prepares agreements relating to data and software licenses, confidentiality, noncompetition, and assignments for several life science, software, and technology clients.
Jareli has particular experience advising on U.S. state laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment as the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and other U.S. consumer privacy statutes.
Jareli represents clients in a variety of industries, such as health care, technology, automotive, energy, education, and finance.
Jareli maintains an active pro bono practice and is involved representing domestic abuse survivors, asylum seekers, and abuse survivors in record clearing proceedings.
