Zach Brecheisen is a corporate lawyer who focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border M&A as well as general corporate and transactional matters. He has experience representing public and private companies and private equity firms engaged in acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and related commercial transactions. Zach also counsels clients on a variety of general corporate governance matters, including takeover defense and fiduciary duties. He has advised domestic and international clients in a broad range of industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, heavy metals, cosmetics, and broadcast technology. Zach has been recognized by Chambers USA and has been praised by clients for his ability in "laying out substantial issues and keeping it concise."

Prior to entering law school, Zach was a project engineer with a North Carolina-based engineering consulting firm, where he advised electric utility clients on transmission and distribution system planning and on arc-hazard protection compliance.

Zach is a member of the board of directors of the Penn State Law Alumni Society and the Penn State Law Development Council. He serves as a co-chair of the Firm's LGBTQ+ Affinity Group and is a member of the National LGBT Bar Association. Zach has been honored numerous times by The Pennsylvania State University and ALM's The Legal Intelligencer for his continuing contributions to the law school and dedication to diversity and inclusion in the legal industry.
