Jones Day's Atlanta Office welcomes GAPABA and SABA-GA
On June 16, 2022, the Firm's Atlanta Office hosted an event with the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) and the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia (SABA-GA).
The event welcomed summer associates and attorneys to Atlanta and provided the lawyers an opportunity to connect and develop relationships with more experienced attorneys in the Atlanta area. Atlanta Office Partner-in-Charge Aldo LaFiandra, partner Rick Deane, and associate Parth Matalia attended the event, and Atlanta Office Diversity Chair Jamila Hall welcomed the guests on behalf of the Firm.
With more than 100 attendees, the event was a huge success in celebrating diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and encouraging the next generation of young attorneys to get involved by volunteering. Jones Day is a proud sponsor and supporter of the South Asian Bar Association.
