Jones Day’s South Asian Affinity Group seeks to support and retain South Asian lawyers at the Firm by sharing experiences, advice, and interests. It also cultivates mentorship and networking opportunities to deepen connections within the Firm, with clients, and within the community, including various bar associations, charities, and advocacy organizations.

Gurneet Singh, President of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California

Gurneet Singh is the new president of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California (SABA-NC), which has a distinguished history of 33 years. SABA-NC supports professional development, mentorship, networking, pro bono service, charitable giving, and leadership initiatives, and has long served the South Asian legal community as well as the broader profession and community in Northern California. Mr. Singh was recognized for his new leadership role at SABA-NC's 30th Annual Gala on March 28, 2026.
Mr. Singh is an intellectual property lawyer in Jones Day's Silicon Valley Office and a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice.
