TotalEnergies leads investment in Zhero Europe's Green Energy expansion

Jones Day advised TotalEnergies as lead investor in Zhero Europe B.V., a company that is developing major renewable energy projects in Italy, Greece and Africa. The energy generated by these projects will be transported to Italy and is expected to accelerate the realization of Italy's 2040 renewable energy goals by at least two years. TotalEnergies is the lead investor in Zhero Europe B.V., with multiple other investors acquiring a minor stake.

In addition, Jones Day has assisted TotalEnergies in its investments in a subsidiary of Zhero Europe B.V. dedicated to a renewable energy project in Tunisia. The investment in the subsidiary further includes an exchange option allowing TotalEnergies to swap its investment in Zhero Europe B.V. for additional shares in the subsidiary.
