Five9 discloses global operations to FCC and initiates compliance measures

Jones Day assisted Five9, Inc. in disclosing its global operations to the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") and initiating measures to ensure compliance with federal law and FCC rules. Five9 is a global provider of cloud-based communications and data services.  Five9 is subject to the jurisdiction of the FCC and the U.S. federal agencies that monitor national security issues involved in the telecommunications industry, such as the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security (jointly referred to as Team Telecom).

Jones Day negotiated a consent decree on behalf of Five9 with the FCC's Enforcement Bureau maintaining Five9's operational status. Following the implementation of regulatory compliance measures Five9 is now fully compliant with FCC and Team Telecom requirements.
