GeoSynFuels strikes joint venture with Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, establishes Agrius BioForms, LLC

Jones Day represented GeoSynFuels in the formation of Agrius BioForms, LLC, a new joint venture established with the non-profit research center, the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. Under the terms of the various agreements, which include development and license/sublicense agreements, Danforth and the USDA each license their respective interests in certain technologies directed to the production of enzymes and other proteins foreign to plants, such as soybeans, so the proteins can be used for clean tech and other commercial purposes, such as GSF's production of biofuels.
