Riverside portfolio company acquires certain assets of CFM Corporation and related subsidiaries

Client(s) Riverside Company, The

Jones Day advised The Riverside Company in connection with its acquisition and related financing of certain assets of CFM Corporation, a manufacturer of fireplaces, stoves and grills, CFM Majestic U.S. Holdings, Inc., CFM U.S. Corporation, CFM Canada and 2089451 Ontario Limited by portfolio company Monessen Hearth Systems Company and its subsidiary, Vermont Castings Holding Company. The financing consisted of an amended and restated secured credit facility and a second amended and restated credit facility, including a term loan facility and revolving loan facility with letter of credit sublimits.
