Polaris asserts unlawful importation and sale and patent infringement against competitor CFMOTO at ITC

Jones Day represents complainants Polaris Inc., Polaris Industries Inc., and Polaris Sales Inc. (collectively "Polaris") in infringement and enforcement actions involving ten Polaris patents against its competitor CFMOTO based on companion complaints filed before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. In the Section 337 ITC investigation, Polaris alleges that CFMOTO unlawfully imports and sells off-road vehicles that infringe five Polaris patents covering core vehicle configurations and technologies. The accused products are CFMOTO's ZFORCE® and UFORCE® vehicle lines. Polaris seeks a limited exclusion order, cease-and-desist order, and imposition of bond during Presidential Review.
