Journey Beyond acquires tourism portfolio of Kelsian Group

Jones Day advised Journey Beyond, Australia’s leading experiential tourism provider and portfolio company of New York-based Crestview Partners, in the A$161 million acquisition of the leading Australian tourism portfolio of ASX-listed Kelsian Group Limited (ASX:KLS) (which includes the Captain Cook Cruises and the SeaLink tourism ferry businesses in Queensland, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania).

The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and counterparty consents.
