Anna Cartwright has significant experience in private equity and M&A, with a focus on real estate private equity. Anna co-leads Jones Day's Real Estate Practice worldwide. She advises on a wide range of transactions including joint ventures, investments, private and public M&A, fund formations, and various matters for private equity funds. Anna regularly works on complex transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and has broad experience across different real estate classes.

Among London's leading lawyers on complex European real estate deals, her notable recent transactions include advising MARK Capital in its €1.585 billion sale of Crossbay (by Crossbay SCSp RAIF), its specialized pan-European last-mile logistics platform, to Prologis European Logistics Fund; Henderson Park Real Estate Fund I in its disposal of its stake in the iconic Westin Paris-Vendôme hotel to its joint venture partner, Dubai Holding; and investment funds managed by an affiliate of MSREF Real Estate Advisor in the establishment of a joint venture with the existing shareholders of Flint Housing Limited, a registered provider of social housing.
