Veteran Cross-Border Disputes Lawyer Bo Huang Joins Jones Day's Global Disputes Practice in Hong Kong
The global law firm Jones Day announced today that Bo Huang has joined the Firm as of counsel in its Global Disputes practice, based in the Firm's Hong Kong office.
Mr. Huang brings more than 15 years of experience in complex cross-border disputes, regulatory enforcement, and investigations across the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China. He has led large-scale SEC and DOJ enforcement investigations, including a significant FCPA investigation involving a major U.S.-based technology company's sales practices in China. He has also resolved multiple SEC enforcement matters involving public-company M&A transactions and senior management trading activity. In Hong Kong, he has defended leading international and Chinese financial institutions in SFC and HKMA enforcement actions, advised listed companies through complex suspension and resumption processes, and represented clients in HKIAC and LCIA arbitrations involving high-value commercial disputes.

At Jones Day, Mr. Huang joins an integrated team of more than 200 Global Disputes lawyers, located in more than 25 business centers worldwide, who advise clients on how to successfully resolve high-value business disputes wherever they arise around the globe. He will work alongside his Jones Day colleagues to help clients with both litigation and arbitration matters, with no preference for either, in some of the most challenging jurisdictions in the world.

Mr. Huang is admitted to practice in New York and Hong Kong. He received his J.D. with honors from The University of Chicago Law School and his LL.B. from Tsinghua University.
