Andrew Barker leads the Firm's European Real Estate Finance team and serves as co-head of the Firm's Private Credit cross-practice group. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, he has established himself as one of the foremost advisors in European real estate finance.

Andrew's practice encompasses the full spectrum of real estate finance work, including large-scale acquisition financings, development facilities, loan portfolio acquisitions, and complex recapitalizations. His clients include many of the most active participants in European real estate — from blue-chip private equity sponsors to major investment banks and leading credit funds.

He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex multijurisdictional structures and his deep understanding of the commercial dynamics that drive the European real estate capital markets.
