NEC resolves ten-patent lawsuit in EDTX relating to telecommunications network systems patents

Client(s) NEC Corporation

Jones Day defended NEC Corporation ("NEC") in litigation brought by Far North Patents, LLC in the Eastern District of Texas, in which the plaintiff alleged that NEC telecommunications network management systems infringed ten patents covering networking related technologies. The case was successfully resolved early in the lawsuit after answering the complaint.
