Jones Day adds corporate partners Luigi Verga and Giulio Politi in Milan

Luigi Verga and Giulio Politi will join Jones Day as partners in its Corporate Practice. They will be based in the Firm's Milan Office.

Mr. Verga's practice is focused on private equity and private and public M&A. He represents clients as lead lawyer in complex domestic and cross-border deals. Mr. Verga's experience ranges from advising private equity investors and industrial groups and on the acquisition and disposal of companies and businesses to joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and special projects. He has significant experience across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and retail. 

Mr. Politi's practice focuses on PE and cross-border M&A, advising multinational corporations and financial sponsors on strategic M&A, joint ventures, and corporate reorganization matters. His experience encompasses several sectors, including infrastructure and aerospace & defense.

Mr. Verga and Mr. Politi will join a Jones Day global Corporate team of nearly 400 M&A attorneys in 16 countries, which, over the past five years, has advised on more than 5200 transactions with a deal volume exceeding $2.1 trillion.
