Jones Day acted for Professor Andrew Dzurak and Allectus Capital, in the creation of a leading quantum computing company, Diraq Pty Ltd (formerly, SiMOS Newco Pty Ltd) whose founding shareholders consist of the University of New South Wales, Allectus Capital and Professor Dzurak.

Diraq Pty Ltd acquired complex intellectual property rights and specialised equipment relating to certain quantum computing hardware. Jones Day also acted on the set-up of the governance, research, intellectual property and priority access framework for Diraq including with the University of New South Wales and other commercial counterparties.
